Vegan Food Factory-Milton Keynes
Vegan Food Factory-Milton Keynes
The food health and hygiene regulations demand very high standards, so as you can imagine, creating a vegan kitchen was exceptionally challenging, especially during the 2020 summer lock-down period. A Milton Keynes-based vegan food manufacturer, invested £5m in its second 17,000sq ft manufacturing site, to cope with high demand. Their new facility had to also be completely allergen-free.
We skilfully handled many areas of this total refit project, from advising on initial design and configuration, through to the non-slip flooring, tiling and installation of stainless-steel sinks and hygiene wall cladding and aluminium cladding on the industrial oven. The finished job was signed off successfully and is set to start manufacture of vegan and free-from selections, which includes sausages, burgers, falafels and vegan meals.
